- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Perhaps it was just a clerical error, but until I bumped into McBride 2 yrs ago, no optician I had seen had ever suggested a glaucoma screening. Guess what? I have early stage glaucoma! As a compulsive former RN Supr, Dr. McBride has only dignified all my "needs to understand" the physiological aspects of my vision. ALL my questions about what various tests are measuring have not only been answered, but ALL staff is pleasant, informed and willing to explain. I appreciate that Dr. McBride started with the generic med for glaucoma, yet has a immediate, conservative, but proactive response to a recent change in ocular pressure. The generic WAS working....now we will evaluate - was it THAT particular batch of generics....or do we need to consider another med AFTER a 6 wk "trial" with the same med/different batch? Get it? These are my eyes and I feel these folks are watching out for my ocular health. Ya would be in good hands here.January 22, 2017by susan beachum
